| Planning and Steering Committee meetings |
We hold committee meetings consisting of representatives
of seven member companies, Yokohama municipal employees, coordinators
and Kihara Foundation staff members in order to promote operations
effectively and efficiently taking member needs into account.
| Seeds presentation meetings and support for commercialization |
We hold gatherings for the release of the research results of
researchers at universities, public research institutes, etc.,
that have seeds with strong potential for commercialization.
We furthermore support the management of joint research
working groups through industry-academia collaboration launched
as a result of the presentation of seeds in FY2006 seeking for
adoption for national projects.

| International bio-business workshops |
Taking advantage of the international network in the Yokohama-Kanagawa
area, we hold research workshops to ensure the success of
advances overseas and alliances with foreign companies.
| Consultation with bio-advisors |
Advisors with technical expertise and intensive background in
biotechnology fields are available free of charge for consulting
to help resolve various problems relating to the technological
development, fund procurement, intellectual property, alliances,
development of sales channels, etc
.
| Exhibit in Bio-Japan 2008 |
We will present a booth exhibit at Bio-Japan 2008 to be held in Yokohama in October of this year and provide opportunities for publicity by member companies and for business matching with companies both in Japan and abroad.
