Researchers at universities, public research institutes, etc.
that have seeds with strong potential for commercialization
make presentations on the outcomes of their research. After
the presentations, unrestricted exchanges of opinions are held
between the researchers who presented their research and the
audience.
We held seeds presentation meetings five times during FY2006
to strengthen alliances with universities in Kanagawa Prefecture.
We requested a total of 24 professors from 1O universities and 3 institutions to
present the results of their most recent research. As a result,
we have currently established five joint research-working groups.
Our network coordinators and Kihara Foundation secretariat staff
support working group management to be adopted in national projects
for the acquisition of R&D funding from the national government.
