| ■Eligibility for membership |
Bioventure startups, biotechnology-related enterprises, business
support services (patent and legal offices, consultants, auditing
corporations, VCs, financial institutions, etc.), university
intellectual property headquarters, TLOs, medical institutions
and other businesses as well as researchers at universities,
research institutes or other organizations and corporations or
individuals with an interest in bio-business are all eligible
for membership in our network.
Member services are currently provided only in Japanese language.
Therefore, please note that only membership applications written
in Japanese can be accepted.
Support by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yokohama
City and Kanagawa Prefecture makes it possible for members to
take advantage of numerous, useful programs either free of charge
or with minimal fees.
■Insertion of information in the company and researcher database
The database can be used effectively for company publicity purposes
searchable either by keyword or condition. Also, information
in the database can be updated
at any time by ID and password.
■Advice on technology development, patents, business management, recruitment of
human resources and other issues
Experts are ready to help member companies resolve the various issues that they
confront.
■Participation in networking and other events
It is possible to participate in events not only in the Yokohama-Kanagawa area
but also in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
■Support for participation in joint research projects
Opportunities exist for participating in joint research projects through academia-industry
partnerships.
■Acquisition of useful information through e-mail publications, websites, etc.
Besides valuable information exclusive for members only, it is also possible
to obtain information regarding study groups, subsidies offerings, event schedules,
etc.
Member companies can also post timely information in the form of news releases.
